Smoking Cessation

At Peppermint Health we can provide the support and advice a smoker needs so that they can make a successful attempt at stopping smoking. It is well established that willpower and attempting to stop without support is not as successful as having support and being given the correct stop-smoking advice by a trained advisor.

You may have attempted to stop before; it can take on average up to about 5 attempts before success is achieved. A typical course would last 6 to 8 weeks; you will receive coaching and adaptive behavioural change advice and support to enable you to change previous smoking habits. We can even provide useful tips on how to stop and reduce the potential for weight gain, and can be done on a 1 to 1 basis in person or over the phone.

Group Support
As a Level 3 Stop Smoking Advisor we are qualified to work with groups in a corporate setting. This course lasts six weeks.
